Heating & Ventilating Apprenticeship
The Heating and Ventilating apprenticeship will equip you for a career as a Heating and Ventilating Craftsman; installing large heating and ventilation systems, bending, threading and welding steel tubing, installation of large boiler plant, pipe work and water pumps and working with copper and plastic pipes.
Your 4 year apprenticeship programme will result in:-
- NVQ Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Heating and Ventilating installation
- Welding Certificate
Once your Heating and Ventilating apprenticeship is completed, apprentices obtaining high grades may be able to progress through our Performance Management and Talent programmes to higher level qualifications, up to and including degree level.
Education and Employment Programme
Your 4 year programme consists of both off-site and on-site training and assessment. All NG Bailey's off-site training is carried out at the NG Bailey Engineering Academy, in Leeds. This means you will be required to stay in Leeds in 3 -4 week blocks (returning home at weekends) for up to 28 weeks in the first year and approximately 18 weeks for the remaining 3 years. Whilst attending the off-site training in Leeds, your accommodation will be provided and funded by NG Bailey.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade C or above to include English, Mathematics and a Science based subject plus any other two.
Please note we cannot progress your application without proof of predicted grades from your school or copies of grades already obtained.
